What is the Pocahontas Live ZERO TOLERENCE POLICY?

Pocahontas Live has a ZERO TOLERANCE policy toward WEAPONS, ILLEGAL DRUGS/ILLEGAL DRUG USE, and UNDERAGE DRINKING.

WEAPONS POLICY: Those in possession of weapons/firearms, whether legal or illegal (guns, knives, mace, etc.) will be denied admission to the pavilion area and will be asked to take all weapons/firearms back to their vehicle. Admission will only be granted to those free of weapons and firearms. Those found in possession of weapons/firearms within the pavilion area will be escorted from the pavilion without refund. No exceptions.

DRUG USE POLICY: Any patron found possessing illegal drugs or using illegal drugs at Pocahontas Live or anywhere on Pocahontas State Park (including all parking areas) will be turned over to the proper legal authority and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. No exceptions! No kidding!

Where can I purchase tickets for Pocahontas Live?

Tickets may be purchased through authorized Pocahontas Live ticket sites: www.ticketstobuy.com or by calling (804) 794 - 6700. There is a convenience charge on each ticket not purchased at the door. If you order tickets online, your tickets will either be held at the WILL CALL window the night of the show or MAILED to you for a small additional fee. NEW: A new option available to you is "print-at-home" tickets, for a small additional fee.

Are tickets available at the gate for Pocahontas Live concerts?

ABSOLUTELY! As long as the concert is not sold out in advance, General Admission tickets are available at the gate.

What if I purchase tickets through brokers/online services/auctions not affiliated with Pocahontas Live?

The purchaser assumes all risk when purchasing tickets from any unauthorized individual, company, or on line auction service. Tickets deemed to be counterfeit or obtained by fraudulent means will be confiscated and destroyed without admission to the concert and without refund. Please purchase your tickets only through the authorized Pocahontas Live ticketing outlet: www.ticketstobuy.com, and at the door on show nights.

What if it rains? Can I get a refund? Can I use my ticket at another show if it rains?

All concerts will go on as scheduled RAIN or SHINE!

Your safety is a paramount concern with us. If for some reason the concert cannot go on we try our best to reschedule the event. The decision is made on a case by case basis.

What time do gates open for Pocahontas Live shows?

For most Pocahontas Live concerts, the gates will open at 6:00pm.

When can I pick up tickets at the Will Call Tent?

The Will Call pickup tent will open approximately 30 minutes before the opening of gates on the day of show only.

Where is the Will Call tent?

The Will Call tent is located beside the front gate and ticket sales areas.

My favorite band is playing at Pocahontas Live. When can I get in line at the door to ensure the best possible seats?

The line for any show may form at any time during the DAY OF SHOW ONLY! There is no overnight-parking nor overnight-sleeping at the facility.

Can we tailgate in the parking lot before the concert?

Sorry, but absolutely no tailgating is allowed at Pocahontas State Park. Violators will be removed from the property without refund.

Is parking available on-site at Pocahontas Live?

Pocoahontas State Park chagres $5.00 per vehicle for parking.

What is the GOLD CIRCLE area?

GOLD CIRCLE is a seating area with a range of 400- 600 premium seats at the front of the stage for select Pocahontas Live concerts. Due to this limited design, everyone sitting within the GOLD CIRCLE (Age 2+) requires a ticket. Seating is NOT assigned. Seating is general reserve and is 1st come, 1st serve. In some special cases, when requested by the artist, this section could be STANDING only, no chairs allowed in the section.

What is the seating/standing policy within the GOLD CIRCLE area? Will people standing/dancing be asked to sit down?

GOLD CIRCLE policy is this: while we request that people sitting within the GOLD CIRCLE area respect the wishes of those seated around them, we understand that standing, clapping, and dancing are an integral part of the concert experience for many attending concerts at Pocahontas Live. We DO NOT guarantee that you will have an unobstructed view of the stage due to others appreciating the concert in their own way and our security staff will never demand that anyone sit down during any performance. We only guarantee that you will be provided a seat within the GOLD CIRCLE area that is close to the stage. No refunds will be offered to those who feel their concert experience was diminished by those enjoying any concert by standing or clapping.

What is the lawn area at Pocahontas Live?

The lawn area at Pocahontas Live is an all-lawn, uncovered, general-admission area very close to the stage (behind Gold Circle, when used) where seating is based on a first come, first served basis.

Can I bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on the lawn for Pocahontas Live?

Yes. Blankets and lawn chairs will still be allowed for all Pocahontas Live concerts. Venue capacity has been reduced for the pavilion to allow for lawn chairs at all Pocahontas Live concerts.

Are there restrictions on what can be brought in to Pocahontas Live?

Yes. Outside food and beverages, coolers, baskets, knapsacks, and pets may not be brought into the pavilion. Food and beverages are available on site through sponsoring vendors. Alcoholic beverages will be confiscated at the gate. On really hot days, above 90 degrees, we can allow 1 sealed bottle of water into the venue. The water bottle size must be 20 ounces or less.

Do I have to purchase a ticket for my children?

When sitting on the general admission lawn and when accompanied by a parent or guardian, children under 10 are admitted for free unless otherwise noted.

However, due to the limited design of the GOLD CIRCLE seating, everyone aged 2+ will require a ticket to sit in the GOLD CIRCLE.

Are cameras allowed at Pocahontas Live?

Camera policy: The artist and their representatives have the EXCLUSIVE right to determine if/how the image of the artist is/is not reproduced. The artist may at any time request that any or all cameras be removed from the premises. You may be required to take your camera back to your car at the artists request, no questions asked.

In general, however, most acts do not object to small, personal cameras to take pictures for personal use, but this is not a guarantee that your camera will be acceptable.

No refunds or exchanges will be given to concert-goers who choose to leave the concert if is determined by the artist or their representatives that cameras are not allowed at the concert.

What forms of payment are accepted at Pocahontas Live?

Cash, VISA, and MasterCard are accepted forms of payment at Pocahontas Live.
